This week we were put into groups to work on making tutorials. This is going to be very helpful to work on my final project. I am going to need to make tutorials to show how to update my website for when I am off in college.

My group and I are going to make a tutorial on how to use Windows Movie Maker because most students do not know how to use movie maker. I was very confused on how to use it when we started using it for the Technology Autobiography. I am looking foward to working on this project.

This week I learned about usability. I learned to keep things short and scannable. I also learned to bullet things. It was a very productive week. I was able to learn some more about things I need to make the website for the school bookclub.

This week I was able to:

• learn about usability
• learn more about edublogs for the school website

Next year, I plan to attend Roger Williams University. There I plan to row on an intercollegiate rowing team.

Rowing is the oldest intercollegiate sport but one of the less populated sports. Many colleges do not have rowing teams because of their lack of a suitable water source.

Next year I plan on rowing on a novice women’s team because I don’t not have much experience.

A little known fact is that Roger Williams himself rowed. Unlike the rowing that I will be taking up however, he rowed from Providence to Newport at the age of 70.

This week I was able to learn a lot. We didn’t have class very much this week but I was able to speak to the teacher I am working with for my project. I learned what she wanted for the website and I was also able to learn how to set up the blogs. Now, I just need to play around with edublogs and figure out how I would like to set up the blogs and how to place them onto a website.

This week, I wasn’t able to learn much due to the CAPT testing schedule and the fact that I was out of school from Wednesday to Friday. I was able to keep up with the homework but I wasn’t able to learn much.

This week I learned how to set up a blog. This is going to be helpful when I go on to further my education because I am going to be able to set up an area where I can discuss work. This is also going to be helpful when I set up my final project. This aspect will help because I want to set up an area where the members of the book club can talk about the books or post questions. Overall this week was very productive in learning how to set up new things and was also helpful for my final project. I look foward to learning more new things in the upcoming weeks.
